One of Hon. Shuaib's key priorities has been to improve the quality of education in Odogbolu. He has invested heavily in renovating and equipping schools, and he has also introduced a number of innovative educational programs. Hon. Shuaib has also made significant investments in infrastructure development. He has constructed and opened up rural roads with road grading and drainage systems, and he has also provided electricity and water to many communities in Odogbolu. Hon. Shuaib has made it a priority to involve young people in the governance process. He has appointed young people to key positions in his administration, such as Supervisor for Information, Youth, Sport, and Education, Hon. Ayo Adebanjo; and Supervisor for Water and Environment, Hon. Jide Balogun; Hon. Seyi Oyekan as the Chairman,Odogbolu Local Government Education Board, among others.
He has also established a number of youth-led committees and initiatives. This increased youth participation has helped to ensure that the needs and aspirations of young people are taken into account in all aspects of government decision-making.
The presence of youth in government has also helped to enhance transparency and accountability in governance.
