Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo Conferred with Chieftaincy Title by Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso


On Monday, Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, the Osile of Oke-Ona Egbaland, officially conferred the Chieftaincy title of “Asoludero of Oke-Ona Egbaland” on Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, a former Chairmanship aspirant in Abeokuta North Local Government and widely known as LOS. The ceremony, held at the Osile’s palace in Sapon, Abeokuta, was attended by notable dignitaries from both within and outside Ogun State.

During the event, Oba Tejuoso presented Hon. Oyegbola-Sodipo with a certificate of conferment, marking his formal induction into the esteemed rank of chieftaincy.

Expressing his gratitude, Hon. Oyegbola-Sodipo shared his joy with the media, thanking the monarch for this significant honor. He pledged his unwavering commitment to serving the community of Oke-Ona Egbaland, promising to contribute to its holistic development.


"Today, I am honored to receive the certificate of conferment of the Chieftaincy title of Asoludero of Oke-Ona, Egbaland. As the first Asoludero of Egbaland, I feel a deep sense of responsibility. Recognition like this is a call to greater service, and I firmly believe that serving humanity is one of the most noble endeavors. I vow to dedicate myself to the advancement of Oke-Ona land," stated Oyegbola-Sodipo.

Hon. Oyegbola-Sodipo, who is also the Managing Director of Havas Africa in Nigeria and Ghana and a renowned marketing communications expert, holds an MSc. in Marketing from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. He is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

With this new title, Hon. Oyegbola-Sodipo looks forward to leveraging his expertise and experience to further the progress and development of Oke-Ona Egbaland
