AWCS! Empowering Women For Better Life


 Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society , (AWCS), Ogun State Chapter, a registered frontline socio-political group, earlier today inaugurated their Senatorial Exco.

The President,Hon. Chief Mrs. Ibrahim Mariam started the meeting by briefing members on her visit to Abuja for AWCS national inauguration. 

The aim is to ensure the political group spreads it's tentacles to all local governments in Ogun State. 

The group also expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded it's members during their visit to the office of the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North local government, Prince Adebayo Abdul-Salam Ayorinde. 

Iyaafin Afolashade Oloko the Welfare Officer from Abeokuta North local government pledged to work hard with AWCS towards the registration with the Local Government. She also encouraged the group to conclude their registration and issue ID cards to its members as this is very important. 

Ranti Ogunmoko, a former Secretary to Abeokuta South local government, and current member of the OGBC board commended Hon. Oyindamola Adeshina-Oyelese for supporting the group as a Trustee. 

Mrs. Adebimpe Adebule from Odeda LG who was attending the AWCS meeting for the first time was encouraged with what she saw and she pledged her full support, saying that she will  mobilize more members for the group. 

 Hon. Oyindamola appreciated the women for coming in their large numbers, from various local governments in Ogun state.  She prayed that the group's efforts shall bear good fruits in 2023, as Nigerians await the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency.
