Maclean preaches oral health care habit for children

Macleans Milk Teeth, the premium toothpaste brand from GSK Consumer Nig Plc, specially formulated for children between ages of one and six years old, has reiterated the need for proper oral health care habit among children.

During a series of parties organised by to mark this year’s children’s day at Ikeja mall, Alausa and Dream world Amusement park, Lekki, the brand advised mothers to pay attention to their children’s oral hygiene.
It was three days of fun and education and other benefits for mothers, and loads of exciting games for children.
According to the Marketing Manager, Oral Health Care and Innovations, GSK Consumer Nigeria Plc, Winston Ailemoh, explained that the event was organised “as a way of celebrating children on their special day and show our commitment to their growth, create an atmosphere of fun while also educating mothers on the importance of good oral health care among children.
“Macleans Milk Teeth contains the right child-safe amount of all the active ingredients in the adult toothpaste especially fluoride. The quantity of fluoride in children’s toothpaste is absolutely important because of the possibility of dental fluorosis, a dental condition which leaves the teeth pitted and mottled, as a result of too much fluoride in the system caused by swallowing of toothpaste during brushing”, he said.
Children and their mums had a great time at the event, participating in dancing competitions, bouncing castles, magic train rides, etc. It was indeed a children’s day to remember courtesy of Macleans Milk Teeth.
