First Set Of Winners Emerge In LEGEND “TASTE & TELL” Activation

The first sets of winners have emerged from the Legend Extra Stout Taste & Tell activation held last weekend in Lagos. The activation was held in several bars across Lagos, and prizes won included: refrigerators, Black berry, crates of Legend Stouts and several branded items.
The campaign, which kicked off on Friday, October 3, 2014 in Lagos, is a follow-up to the re-launch of Legend Extra Stout earlier in the year. The “Taste & Tell” campaign is designed to reinforce the unique Legend Extra Stout taste, as well as to educate them on its key attributes.
The campaign gives the Legend Extra Stout consumers opportunity to participate in a blind taste exercise which involves several unidentified stout drinks. Participants who are able to correctly identify the Legend brand from the range of options are rewarded with prizes.
So far, over 25 winners have emerged from 32 participants in four bar activations across locations in Lagos. More winners are expected to emerge in the next few weeks as the campaign will run for five consecutive weekends.
The campaign, which is being anchored by a renowned Comedian, De Don, features DJ performances, comedy, dance competition, Live music from the Platinum Blazers, celebrity guest appearances and many more.
Speaking during one of the activations in Lagos, Funso Ayeni, Senior Brand Manager, Legend and Life beer, promised that Legend Extra Stout will continue to reward its loyal consumers due to the strategic role they play in the overall success of the brand as the leading stout drink in Nigeria.
It is worthy to note that Legend Extra Stout has never stopped rewarding its esteemed consumers in a big way. The brand recently took 30 lucky Nigerians to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to shop with N1 million each, as part of its 2014 Legend Real Deal Promo. Airtime worth millions of naira was also won during the promo.
Over the years, Legend Extra Stout has continued to position itself as a credible stout of choice, full-brewed the way an original stout should, giving it the credibility to be called the ‘Real Deal’.  This sincere proposition has sustained the brand’s steady market growth since its re-launch in 2009.
